The basic outline of the document is provided and you will be asked to make a number of modifications so that it can be circulated to diners attending an event.

Get into pairs with someone you don't know and answer the following questions relating to Miscrosoft Word.
1. What is the keyboard short cut for paste?
2. Describe two different ways to switch toolbars on and off.
3. Which toolbar contains a button you can use to insert text boxes?
4. What are tab leader characters and which drop down menu commands can you use to insert a tab leader?
5. What is a hanging indent and which drop menu commands are used to set hanging indents?
6. What is the button with a paint brush icon on the standard toobar and what is it used for?
7. What does the paste icon represent?
8. What is on the far left of the formatting toolbar?
9. Describe how you can view the clipboard.
10. Typeface appearance can be narrowed down into two distinct groups, name these two groups, then name three typefaces from each group.

* sort these results
* export a database table to a spreadsheet
* analyse these reults into subtotals and charts
* create a report of your results in a word document using style sheets
* import Excel charts of your results to illustrate your Word document report
The text file to be imported is in your folder called [results.txt]. If you have a sub folder called [ECDL] I will have put it in there.
